Acts 2:41 “Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.”
The Project 2:41 ministry is accomplished through specially organized soul winning and baptism efforts. These Great Commission outreaches can last for a day, two days or stretched out over a couple of weeks. Through this ministry 131 events in 35 cities have been conducted.
Luke 14:21 “...Go out quickly into the streets and lanes of the city, and bring in
hither the poor...” The Into The Streets ministry is accomplished two ways. One way is through Neighborhood Services, which are outdoor meetings typically conducted in parks. People are invited, and often transported to the designated location where the Gospel is clearly presented. The second way is personally going to the people on the streets, in the parks, and in the neighborhoods, sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ. Through this ministry 643 meetings have been conducted in 54 cities.
These trained “Preaching the Gospel” teams are organized and mobilized to assist churches in spreading the Gospel to the lost in their cities and communities in the summer time. Teams range from between 6 to12 people where various and often multiple methods are used to present the Gospel and draw the salvation net. Through this ministry we have partnered with 13 churches reaching out into 16 cities.
These clubs are mostly conducted in apartment complexes and homes. Designed largely for young people, we use a club type approach to focus on one character building principle per club program. The character principles come from the life of a Bible personality. Each 5-part series covers four character principles and one character definition. The adults that also attend get involved in the program, which includes a Gospel presentation with an opportunity to receive Christ as Saviour. This program is a difference maker, and with proper training, churches can have a positive impact on the lives of young people.
CHARACTER IN THE CLASSROOM
This is character lessons designed largely for teens and adults, which are taught in various size group settings, and takes the character principles a step further and focuses on character applications. The goal is to provide materials which can be used to make a constructive difference in the individual’s decision making process. A church teaching these lessons can use them as relationship builders and minister to people as the doors of opportunity are opened in their lives.
COMMODITIES 3 ENABLEMENT
There are three basic commodities in life that everyone needs; they are food, clothing and a place to stay. Jesus said that the poor would always be with us; therefore, a ministry involved with the poor and needy will always be interacting with the three basic commodity needs of an individual. These three elements of the ministry are not currently in place, but hopefully can be soon.
